<span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: #58595b; font-family: Arial; font-size: 11px;">The world's most active <b><i>submission grappling </i></b>competitor since the year 2006, <b><i>Ryan Hall</i></b> has competed with great success at the local, national, and international levels. Since beginning his competitive career in July of 2004, Ryan has cemented himself as one of the most successful up-and-coming <i><b>submission grapplers</b></i> in the world, defeating some of the sport's greatest champions along the way (including U<b style="font-style: italic;">FC fighters </b>and<b style="font-style: italic;"> Black Belt World Champions</b>, many of whom have been training decades longer than he has). Ryan is a C<b><i>BJJ Mundial (world) and European champion </i></b>who has also medalled at the<b><i> Brazilian National</i></b>s and twice been invited to compete at the ultra-prestigious <b><i>Abu Dhabi Submission Wrestling World Championship</i></b>.</span><br />

<span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: #58595b; font-family: Arial; font-size: 11px;">On February 5 Ryan Hall Ryan Hall held a <b><i>Brazilian Jiu Jitsu seminar</i></b> at <b><i>The MMA Academy (Liverpool)</i></b>. There was a great turn out by all the lads who travelled from <b><i>Manchester</i></b> and as far as <b><i>Newcastle </i></b>to be involved with such a prestigious event for </span><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: #58595b; font-family: Arial; font-size: 11px;">MMA in Liverpool </span><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: #58595b; font-family: Arial; font-size: 11px;">with such a <b><i>world class Grappling master. </i></b></span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: #58595b; font-family: Arial; font-size: 11px;"><br />

<span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: #58595b; font-family: Arial;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: 11px;">What a humble and affable man this guy was until he got to the mat! His teaching and style is precise and straight to the point, no fancy stuff. He just wants your most vulnerable spot so he can capitalize on it, pass your guard, control and submit! His credentials say it all but the focus in his eyes and his laser like </span></span><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: #58595b; font-family: Arial; font-size: 11px;">precision with his teaching and when he's rolling himself are </span><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: #58595b; font-family: Arial; font-size: 11px;">something that needed to be witnessed to be believed.</span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: #58595b; font-family: Arial; font-size: 11px;"><br />
</span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: #58595b; font-family: Arial; font-size: 11px;">The seminar was for about 4 hours long and simple in demonstration yet in practice the skills Ryan shared were seriously invaluable for anybody wanting to improve their ground game. </span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: #58595b; font-family: Arial;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: 11px;"><br />
</span></span><br />
We started with passing the sitting guard where we transitioned to securing the side control and trapping the outer arm before securing the mount. "<i>Yeh, Yeh....I already knew all that." </i>everybody else thought the same but walked away with some serious improvements tho their ground game. Hopefully next time your rolling with one of the lads that were there, you'll appreciate Ryan's techniques!!<br />
<br />
Special thanks to Ryan For flying over from Switzerland to take the seminar and thanks to all the lads who turned out.<br />
